La'akea depends, in large measure, on charitable contributions from interested individuals, foundations, and corporations. Charitable contributions from supporters enable La’akea to fund new capital projects (village infrastructure, houses, craft studios, therapeutic facilities, etc.) and build endowed assets that can contribute toward offsetting future scholarship, capital, and other critical needs.
